Article Submission is a fantastic way of advertising your business(s). To advertise in this way is 100% free too. Vitually anyone could do it for their selves. And as soon as you have cracked article marketing you'll see for yourself how much traffic you could bring to your site. Its a guaranteed way of attracting people to try your services.

To succeed when submitting articles it is vital for you to create a personalized, quality resource box. A resource box is a chance to explain to the readers a bit about you, the author. You should include your name and share something about who you are and your experience. Apart from the article itself, the second most vital thing is to include an informative resource box.

The best way to create a resource box is to explain to the reader about your career and what experience you have gained in the profession. Not anything too in depth but enough to make sure you sell you, the author as a specialist on the article subjects. You should also encourage the readers to click on the link(s) to your site. If you sell yourself in such a way you'll undoubtedly find potential customers clicking the links and sales will improve as a result.

What info to add to the resource boxes!

First of all make sure you enter your name in the resource box. Your personal name, along with the name of your company. Your companies name is a good idea, but your own name is the most important thing as you want the readers to recognize you as an expert. It's also a good idea to enter the address of your website. Begin the address with http://. This way it is not only a clickable link but the readers can copy and paste the address if they want to take a peek another time. When creating multiple articles it is advisable that sometimes you use internal pages (deep links) on your site. This will better your sites search engine rankings within time.

A resource box is basically your sales pitch. It's where you try to attract customers. That's why you want to make the readers believe you know what you are saying. You should make it a minimum of 2 to 3 lines long but longer is better. 5 or 6 lines is ideal. If you have created variations of an article it's imperative that you use variation for the resource boxes as well.

When placing the link(s) it is advisable that you explain that it's the place to click for additional info. Offer to explain more. Offer to provide examples or a free quote.

Things not to put in the resource boxes!

It isn't advisable to write a list of all the sites you run. Its better to concentrate on a single site per article. This way all of the traffic will get directed to the related site. Otherwise it'll be a waste of time. Your credibility would get ruined if links direct people to unrelated webpages and you could even get banned from a lot of directories.

You shouldn't share all of your accomplishments. Only include one or two of your accomplishments that relate most to the article subject. Readers will be swayed more by just a couple of accomplishments instead of a big list.

You will probably be banned if you advertise products not related to the article.

If you take all this information in mind, article marketing is a brilliant free way of advertising your business. Make sure that they're good quality articles and interesting. And of course the resource boxes should be as good in order to convince possible customers. Check out my resource box to see for yourself how I've done mine.
